Anti-alcohol advocates voice their opposition to CP All Plc selling beer on tap at 18 of its 7-Eleven stores, at CP Tower 1 on Silom Road on Oct 6. The company on Tuesday decided to end sales. CP All on Tuesday announced an end to the sale of fresh draught beer at its 7-Eleven convenience stores in the face of strong opposition from prohibitionist networks. The opposition included advocates from anti-alcohol groups who submitted a letter to CP All Plc criticising the sale of beer on tap at its convenience stores. They argued this enabled easy access to alcohol by underage youths and encouraged consumption of alcohol in general.
